And Sometimes the Dreams Come True
On
an unrelated note: Today, February 23rd is the ten year anniversary of
my 2002 Olympic Bobsled Team winning the bronze medal in Salt Lake City.
I don't talk much about my athletic background, but this was one of the
greatest moments of the 2002 Olympic Games. The lessons I learned on
that journey I use everyday in my coaching. Never complain. Stay the
course, keep the faith, and never, ever give up. Athletes that do those
simple things are very hard to beat.
Against all odds, USA II climbed out of the 2nd seed on Day I to be in contention on Day II heading into the final run. The video below tells the rest of the story.
